====================
Despite the fact that the record says Alice as the mother, it is more than probable that it is Ellis. A large number of people were unable to read and write, and it was up to however the person writing the record how to spell names. There are no records of a William marrying an Alice, or any other birth records for children in Flamborough born to William and Alice at that time.

.. and in Yorkshire Ellis sounds very much like Alice.

==============
There are John Warcup's married having children in Skipsea at the same time. I believe all the children are connected to the correct John based on names, DOB, and the mother of the children being on some of the IGI records. The oher John Warcup is also on the tree as one of the descendants of this John Warcup (Ethel Hall b 03 Dec 1886) marries one of the other John's descendants (Charles W Warkup b 05 Aug 1960).

The christening of John is in Flamborough, even though he was married an lived in Skipsea. There is another John Warkup born 07 Jun 1713 which is recorded in St John & St Martin, Beverley who is also a contender for being this John. However, if Milkiah bap 20 Oct 1746 is a daughter of this John, then it is more likely to be the John from Flamborough, since John from Flamborough had a sister called Milchy, and his mother's maiden name was Milchy. (It is common for a child to be given the maiden name of a parent.)

** RETHINK **
We originally had 2 John Warcups in Skipsea having children between 1742 and 1771. We had 2 marriages :
Iohn Warcup -> Jane Foster 18-May-1741 Skipsea
Iohn Warcup -> Frances Baron 29-Mar-1754 Skipsea
which also seemed to confirm this.

We now believe that this is the same John marrying twice, with children being born over a rather large 29 year span. This
does seem a long time to be having children, but it is still feasible. The timeline appears to be:

7 Jun 1716 Flamborough
John Warcup baptised

10 Aug 1741 Skipsea
John Warcup marries Jane Foster

6 Jun 1742 Skipsea
John & Jane's first child (John) baptised

26 Apr 1752 Skipsea
John & Jane's last children (Ellis & Eliza) baptised

15 May 1752 Skipsea
Jane Warcup buried Skipsea (possibly complications after Ellis & Eliza's birth)

28 Mar 1754 Skipsea
John Warcup marries Frances Baron (John's 2nd marriage)

30 May 1756 Skipsea
John & Frances's first child (Frances) baptised

27 May 1771 Skipsea
John & Frances's last child (John) baptised

The reason for believing this is an entry found on the Hull University Manuscripts and Archives Database:

This reference implies that a John Warcup is married to a 'Frances' and also has a son Stephen. We know that Stephen was
baptised 12 Feb 1743 which was before John married Frances. John, at that time, was married to Jane. Hence, the John that
was the father of Stephen must also have been the John that married Frances - hence John must have married twice.

This means that rather than only having a link via marriage from the Flamborough Warcups to the Skipsea/Beeford Warcups,
instead we have the Skipsea-Beeford tree Warcups being direct descendants os the Flamborough Warcups !

Personal Notes

NoteAdditional comments:
====================
Julianna is recorded with various spellings of her name, including 'Julian'.

We have confirmation that Julianna is a link between the Skipsea and Hornsea Warcups. In the 1851 census she is listed as being originally from Skipsea, with her children from Hornsea.

This is the first occurrence of a Warcup marrying a Warcup !
Juliana's death certificate was witnessed by her son-in-law Richard Cooper, who she was living with in Hull in 1851.
