====================
In "A Sketch of Hornsea", John is listed as one of the farmers of Hornsea in 1851. He had 56 acres and was living on Bewholme Lane.
We believe John D may have had another wife. His daughter Mary's monumental inscription in 1855 mentions a wife 'Elizabeth' we have not yet identified.

Additional comments:
====================
Although the IGI record states the father in William, it is believed that it is really Richard.
Lois is the only Cooper in the batch born in Hornsea who is not the son of Richard.
The previous entries in the batch for 'cook' are all for a father 'William'.
It is therefore assumed to be a typing error.
