OntarioTree The Ontario Warkups were noticeably spelt with a 'K' as was the branch in Beeford, England and that area. They are descended from John (b1771) who originally came from Skipsea but moved to Beeford. We have George Warkup and his family who moved to Whitby, Ontario. We also have Robert Warkup (b1828) who moved to Pickering, Ontario. Robert is George's nephew. Robert moved across with the Jordan family (also of Beeford). Robert's brother (Francis) married the sister of Samuel Jordan and Robert is first seen in 1851 living with the Jordans.
