Personal Notes

NoteThere are two baptisms of a John Craggs in Bishop Wilton (one in 1855 and one in 1857). There is, however, only one birth registered in 1855.
The child who appears in the 1861 census was born in 1855, not 1857 so he did not die. We believe, therefore, that the entry in 1857 is a mistake, or the same child has been baptised twice.
The second baptism is on the same day as his younger sister Ann Elizabeth.
