Also in the house is an (as yet) unidentified Mary Hodgson (aged 8 days) - see below We have a David & Jane Hutchinson born of a John & Rebecca. However, we also have a David Hutchinson marryng a Jane Warcup in 1841. It is assumed that the Jane in the household is David's husband rather than sister. David is listed first (and it should be his Jane if it was his sister as she is older). Also - the Hutchinson's are living next door to John & Edith Warcup and their children. John and Edith should have a daughter Jane b1818, but she is not in the household. It looks like Jane Warcup married David Hutchinson who was living next door. ** The marriage certificate (Malton Mar 1841) has been ordered and should hopefully help confirm some of this. Details to follow when it arrives. LINKS: Appleton-le-Street Baptism Record Appleton-le-Street Marriage Record 1841 census - part 1 1841 census - part 2 |
